New members are made very welcome and are encouraged to join in the regular club activities, trips, driver training and social events.

All Jeep models are catered for, from the earliest models to the very latest Wranglers, Cherokee and Grand Cherokees.

Regular club meetings are held on the last Tuesday of each month. Meetings are held at Ashwood Hall, Ashwood (21a Electra Avenue Ashwood vic 3147). The Melbourne Jeep Owners Club offers organized club trips to a wide range of destinations both around Victoria and interstate.

The Melbourne Jeep Owners Club offers organized club trips to a wide range of destinations both around Victoria and interstate. All levels of driver skill and vehicle specifications are catered for and trips are rated to suit weather and track conditions as well as driver and vehicle suitability.

The club has an extensive driver training program which, for many years was conducted at Omaru Jeep Adventure Park near Kilmore, an hour north of Melbourne. In 2018 the property was sold by the owners and we have now relocated our training to the Narbethong and Marysville area where there are a wide variety of tracks and challenges available throughout the year. All new members must complete an induction and training program prior to attending any club trips as a driver.

The Melbourne Jeep Owners Club promotes responsible four wheel driving with total respect for the environment. The club follows the ‘Tread Lightly’ ethos for responsible driving and camping.

The Melbourne Jeep Owners Club is a non-profit organization which supports a wide variety of organisations through donations, working bees and other community assistance efforts, including Royal Flying Doctors, Kilmore CFA, Oxfam, BlazeAid, Narbeview Wildlife Shelter to name just a few.

One of our long-standing relationships is with Victorian High Country Huts Association where we have undertaken the restoration of and now ongoing maintenance of a number of High Country huts under their guidance.

Giving back to the communities and areas we enjoy travelling through is a big part of what MJOC is all about. We adhere to a Code of Ethics and strive to Tread Lightly in order to preserve the bush.

We hope you enjoy your visit to our website and encourage you to become involved with this great club.

The Melbourne Jeep Owners Club is the assumed name of the MJOC Four Wheel Drive Club Incorporated. Jeep is the Registered Trade Mark of the Chrysler Group LLC and the club uses the Jeep Trade Mark with permission.
