Happy New Year Everyone,
I hope that you are fit and well and looking forward to 2022. It will be a big one for MJOC as we are celebrating our 25th Anniversary. It is especially pleasing to see the large number of members who have been with the club for many years, including some of our founding members. The club has a proud history and it is great to see that even with the curved balls that COVID keeps throwing that there are still plenty of trips, training and events scheduled. And plenty of you booking on.
As previously advised our first Members Meeting for the year will be a SHOW & SHINE on Tuesday 1st February at 7:30pm. This is a great first opportunity to get together and celebrate the Clubs 25th Anniversary. We will meet in the car park of the hall in Electra Avenue in Ashwood. Unless it rains we will stay outside and enjoy the fresh air. There will be prizes, a BBQ dinner and drinks will be provided and as always there will be great company. If you have any Jeep related items that you wish to sell or swap please bring them along. So that we ensure that we cater correctly please let us know that you are coming by logging into the event and booking in.
Our main celebration for the 25th anniversary will be the Muster which will commence on Good Friday 15th April, 2022 and run over the whole Easter weekend. There will be plenty of activities to get involved in for young and old. If you haven't already done so please register your interest on our web site. The more the merrier. This will help us with the detailed planning.
I am pleased to inform you that Lawrence Harrison has volunteered to join the Committee and take over the Public Relations role. This will be a pivotal role as we seek to strengthen our relationship with our sponsors.
Finally if you have any suggestions for trips, events etc please do not hesitate to let me or anyone on the Committee know. I am looking forward to seeing you out on the tracks and at the Show and Shine next Tuesday.
