Hi Everyone,

Here are some key things that are happening in your club at the moment:

1. Muster and our 25 Year Celebrations:

Preparations for our 25 Year celebrations are ramping up. Leanne and Justin have been busy designing the 25 year logo and arranging brand new merchandise. There is a Sub Committee taking care of everything to do with the Muster. The Committee is led by Nigel Woods and consists of Denise Tunny, Catherine Dietrich, Rob Sharp, Phil Pavey and Daryl Schafer. They have all been working round the clock to bring you a wonderful celebration over the Easter long weekend. This is the biggest event that MJOC has staged since the last Jambo. If you haven't already booked on do yourself a favor and do so! And make sure to book on the various trips and events as this helps us with the planning. If you jump on our web site you will see that there are plenty of events for young and old. Including an Easter egg hunt, trips to Narbeview Animal Wildlife Shelter, various easy, medium and difficult trips to suit all skill levels, Saturday night dinner will be provided and we will be joined by representatives from Jeep Australia and Four Wheel Drive Victoria. Lawrence Harrison has been working with our generous sponsors and has gathered together some wonderful prizes which will be included in the raffle.

2. Our Next Members Meeting:

Our next Members Meeting will be held at 7:30pm on Tuesday 29th March. This will be held at our normal location, Monash Halls at 21A Electra Avenue in Ashwood and also via Zoom . The Zoom invitation will be sent out closer to the event. The meeting will include an update on the preparations for Muster, trips reports for events held over the past month and updates from your Committee. With the easing of COVID restrictions we are now permitted to return to our preferred format with up to 100 people in the hall and free pizza and soft drinks available from 7:00pm. If you are able to come and join us it would be great to see you again.

3. Photo Competition:

As previously advised we are ready to launch the new virtual membership card and Mobile app. We need to set up the art work for both and would like your input. As a bit of fun we thought that it would be nice to launch a competition to select the two images and there will be a prize for the winners.

The Membership Card will be credit card size so we will require a landscape photo for this. The photo for the mobile app will require a image in portrait. Each file should be 1012px x 638px and you can use full colour right up to the edge. Ideally the pictures should include different types of Jeep's and should reflect the different type of things that we love doing as a club. Please forward your photos to and if you are not the photographer please ensure that you/we have permission to use the image. Submissions to the competition will close on Saturday 23rd April 2022. This will give you the opportunity to include photos from the Muster. We will then load the photos onto the system and provide all members with an opportunity to vote on their favourites. Voting will close on Wednesday 25th May and the winners will be announced at the Members Meeting on Tuesday 31st May 2022.

Finally if you have any suggestions for trips, events etc please do not hesitate to let me or anyone on the Committee know. I am looking forward to seeing you out on the tracks and at the Muster over Easter.
