Hi Everyone,

Here are some key things that are happening in your club at the moment:

1. A BIG THANK YOU to all who helped make the Easter Muster and our 25 Year Celebrations such a Great Success:

Well the Muster is over and for those who attended I am sure that you will agree that it was brilliant. There were activities to suit all tastes and we had about 120 people at the dinner on Saturday evening. Events like these take a lot of work and many of our club members put in an extraordinary effort. I would like to thank the Muster Committee: Nigel Woods; Denise Tunny; Catherine Dietrich; Rob Sharp; Phil Pavey and Daryl Schafer. I would also like to acknowledge the work of Lawrence Harrison, Glen Tunny and Ian Fletcher. And our wonderful Sponsors who always go the extra yard in supporting the club. If you get the opportunity to thank them in person please do.

I must admit that after last weeks Muster I can't wait for the next.

2. Photo Competition - Submission Date Extended from Saturday 23rd April until Wednesday 27th April 2022:

A reminder that we are ready to launch the new virtual membership card and Mobile app. We need to set up the art work for both and would like your input. As previously advised we have launched a competition to select the two images and there will be a prize for the winners.

The Membership Card will be credit card size so we will require a landscape photo for this. The photo for the mobile app should be in portrait. Each file should be 1012px x 638px and you can use full colour right up to the edge. Ideally the pictures should include different types of Jeep's and should reflect the things that we love doing as a club.

Please forward your photos to president@mjoc.org.au and if you are not the photographer please ensure that you/we have permission to use the image. The closing date for submissions has been extended from Saturday 23rd April 2022 to Wednesday 27th April. We will then load the photos onto the system and provide all members with an opportunity to vote on their favourites. Voting will close on Wednesday 25th May and the winners will be announced at the Members Meeting on Tuesday 31st May 2022.

3. Our Next Members Meeting:

Our next Members Meeting will be held at 7:30pm on Tuesday 26th April. This will be held at our normal location, Monash Halls at 21A Electra Avenue in Ashwood and also via Zoom . The Zoom invitation will be sent out closer to the event. The meeting will include a review of the Muster, trip reports for events held over the past month and updates from your Committee. With the easing of COVID restrictions we are now permitted to return to our preferred format with up to 100 people in the hall with free pizza and soft drinks available from 7:00pm. We will also be reintroducing the pink pig, door prizes and in the near future guest speakers. If you are able to come and join us it would be great to see you again.

Finally we are always looking for new ideas for trips and events please let me know your suggestions.
