Post Fire Recovery

Little Desert National Park, 9 August

We're calling on passionate nature lovers and community-minded individuals to join the first-ever post-fire recovery Volunteer Track Ranger Program at Little Desert National Park. This is your chance to work alongside rangers, park staff, and local community groups to help restore and protect this unique landscape. From habitat restoration to improving visitor sites and walking tracks, your efforts will make a real impact.

No experience needed.

Spaces are limited, register now to be part of this important recovery effort.

 

When and where:

Saturday, 9 August 2025
Little Desert National Park, Western Victoria
Training, tools and supervision provided

 

What you’ll be involved in:

  • Habitat restoration to support native wildlife

  • Visitor site upgrades and beautification

  • Walking track improvements

  • Plus, a range of rewarding, practical conservation activities

Whether you’re a seasoned volunteer or trying something new, you’ll be part of a supportive team making a tangible impact.

 

Meeting details

  • Park: Little Desert National Park 

  • Meeting point: Horseshoe Bend Campground Carpark Little Desert National Park

  • Meeting time: 10.30am for safety briefing from our Rangers.

  • Duration: 6 hours
