It’s not just the sound of a Hemi V8 climbing up Zeka Spur Track or a Pentastar V6 powering along the beach at Beachport S.A.— it’s the roar of thirty years of history!


As we roll through 2026, we are officially putting it in low range and crawling toward a massive milestone. In 2027, the Melbourne Jeep Owners Club (MJOC) will officially celebrate its 30th Anniversary.

From our humble beginnings back in 1997 to becoming the largest Jeep-exclusive club in Australia, it’s been one hell of a ride.

Whether you drive a vintage XJ Cherokee, a battle-hardened Wrangler, or a tech-heavy Grand Cherokee, you’re part of a legacy that has helped defined the Victorian 4WD scene. Next year will be a big year for MJOC!

Advice for New Jeepers.

Watch the 'Off Roading 101" video from Brad at Trail Recon in California. Brad shows how to get started if you are new to 4WD action and he offers similar advice as MJOC on what to do as a first time Jeeper with your new Jeep.  Just remember some terminology and products are US based. Check out all the other great videos at Trail Recon while you are there.
