Lerderderg & Wombat Hard Tracks Exploration Day

After meeting up we will head into Lerderderg starting with Nuggety, Ratcliffe & Diggers Track before heading accross to Wombat Forest. Things will get a bit rockier as we head up to explore the tracks around Mount Wilson.  

Aiming to finish up at the Pig & Whistle in Trentham before we head home.

The tracks Ive been on are Difficult, however there are a few I havent been down so might be a few surprises. 

Please Note
Bring lunch, snacks, water.
Only Primary Members to register - Registration is only required for the Primary Member. Family and others will be added by the Trip Leader on the day. No need to register passengers etc.





Trip leader special/additional requirements

Electric Winch
Mud Terrain Tyres -Ideally 35 inch tyres, minimum 33
Front & Rear Diff Locks
Snorkel






Vehicle set up requirements


Please note that this trip is only suitable for vehicles that have been lifted with larger aggressive All terrain or Mud terrain Tyres.
Vehicles need to be equipped for this trip as the Trip Leader has specified.

All vehicles need to be fully self recoverable with electric winch and the trip leader may specify diff locks be fitted. Vehicles should be in good working order as conditions will place additional stress on the vehicle.

Drivers must be very experienced and should consider completing the MJOC advanced driver training course.

The Trip Leader may require other equipment or vehicle set up. Please contact the Trip Leader or Operations Officer if unsure about your vehicle.

Recovery / Snatch Strap
Rated Shackles
Recovery Dampener
First Aid Kit
UHF 5 Watt Radio in car
Fire Extinguisher
Water Bra or Wading Sheet
Spade or Shovel, Leather Gloves etc
