Regular Club Trips and Events
MJOC run an extensive variety of club trips to suit all levels of driver skills and all types of Jeeps.
Driver Training
The club runs a driver training program which includes beginners and more advanced levels.
All members must have completed driver training prior to attending club trips. Driver training is free to club members.
Community Service Activities
MJOC is involved in many community activities. We raise funds throughout the year through raffles, which are donated to a worthy cause at the end of the year. In the past this has included Royal Flying Doctors, Kilmore CFA and others. MJOC also assists with maintaining Keppels Hut, Ryan’s Spur Hut and 15 Mile Hut in conjunction with the Victorian High Country Huts Association.
Club Discounts
Discounts can be obtained from many club sponsors and suppliers on presentation of your membership card. You may save more than the cost of MJOC membership on your next service, 4WD parts, accessories, camping gear etc.
Club Meetings and Guest Speakers
Regular club meetings are held on the last Tuesday of each month. Monthly meetings are held at Ashwood Hall, Ashwood (21a Electra Avenue Ashwood vic 3147).
Meetings commence at 7.30pm and are preceded by member socialising. Prospective members are more than welcome, however so that you are expected, please contact the Membership Officer on membership@mjoc.org.au
We have an open style of running meetings so as not to get bogged down with red tape.
Come along and see for yourself, have a cuppa and supper on us.
Club Permit Scheme
As a benefit to members the club offers the Vicroads Club Permit Scheme (CPS) for members who own a vehicle that is more than 25 years old and is in a roadworthy condition. The Permit allows for either 45 or 90 days of use per year.
